hon I really don't recommend for you to try anymore of these fasts or diets. What you really need to do is educate yourself about food and nutrition. Not just calories and fat but what GOOD nutrition will do for you and your body.

Like I said, you have to make a commitment to yourself to treat yourself right. You are worth it and your body will thank you for it in the long run.

Do some web searches on fitness, weight watchers menus, that sort of thing. One thing I did to help me was write a commitment letter stating I would not binge and purge and would try my very best to eat healthy. I signed it and hung it on my refrigerator to remind me. I even had my husband sign it. Now I know this might not be something you feel you can do (I'm assuming b/c of your age and living situation it might not be an option). But what you could do is write that letter, promising yourself you will make the effort. Keep it in a safe place but where you can get to it and look at it often.

Try making yourself a little safety deposit box (also referred to as a coping bank) Take an empty shoe box and write on index cards or pieces of paper some positive things to do for yourself instead of binge-eating. Like listening to music, coloring pictures, making something for yourself (like a bracelet or necklace - get artsy about it) put things in that box that you feel are positive and make you happy. When you start feeling alone, depressed, upset w/e go to the box and take out an item and do what it says.

This keeps your mind otherwise occupied instead of food, helps you to learn coping skills and overall healthier habits.

I hope some of this has helped. Let me know if I can do anything further. You can do this, sweetie! I know you can! I believe in you!!!
