Hi,
If you dont want to get into the anorexic spiral again: DO NOT DO 2468
It is an anorectic thing to do. I can pretty much assure you that if you start 2468 you will get back into being ana. You say you dont want this and I dont want you to fall back either. 2468 is a diet where you only lose, it is not healthy and it does not maintain weight (I ended up in coma for 8 days after doing it for several months).
What you can do is the following: try to keep eating healthy, I know you said it is not working but keep it up anyway, go and exercise. Limit your salt intake, anti-depressants can make you hold water, you can help that a little by limiting your salt. Cut all sugar. Try not to eat after 7 o'clock at night, drink a glass of water before every meal, eat a lot of fibers, they fill you up. Dont eat any meat from an animal with four feet (so chicken and fish are fine). Do not eat anything fried.
Try to eat slower, it takes our body 15 minutes before our "I am full mechanism" start working. Some anti-depressants stop this mechanism so make sure you are not eating too big portions.
Try to learn the difference between, enough and full, a lot of ex-anas have this problem, the mechanism in your body that tells you wether you have enough or wether you are full does not work properly anymore, this will work better as you eat slower. Do not watch tv while you eat, people eat more while watching tv (this is really proven).
Make a deal with yourself that you can only eat at the dinner table, not at the sink, not on the couch, this prevents snacking. Try, if that is possible to cook yourself and not get take away.
If this doesnt work please go to a nutricianist or dietician, they are able to help you lose the weight without you going back to ana. We both know how easy it is to fall back so please be very careful. I do understand you want to lose some weight but your health is more important.
Clinically speaking you are not doing so bad with a BMI of 27.5, it is not overweight, it is a tendency to overweight. So dont worry to much about it. Your ideal weight would be somewere between 110 and 140, ideally around 130 lbs.
if there is anything I can do for you to help you let me know and I will see what I can do.
