Leaning back will confused him to fall, I can do every boardslide out there. Pop the board higher then the object, land with some weight forward, because the force is going forward so lean with it so it doesn't slip out from under you. Once you land balance your weight out. When you first touch in the slide, have 50% weight on the left foot and 50% weight on the right foot, needs to be equal, always turn out with your front foot. Once you turn and land balance even or a little forward and put a little more weight on your front foot.
