• Florida is a small state. Everyone is friendly with everyone here. I have seen WAY more shady things happen at Florida pageants than the director being friendly with moms. If you ruled out every child who's mom shared a room with them at a pageant, every kid who's birthday they attended, every person she was ever social with, you would eliminate most kids from competing.   • There is no need to be rude. There are several different types of pageants in Florida and glitz is not the only kind. In fact, many of our glitz girls have worked very hard to win Coed and Citrus. It is a lot harder to win 1 title per group with 30+ girls in each one then a pageant with more titles than contestants. At least everyone goes home with something, anyone can win (I have no idea on COI with her) and it's easy to model there.
