The ill timed, ill concieved Beatles project invisioned by Paul, about Paul, produced by Paul and starring Paul. Intended to be those four good lads from Liverpool going into the studio to record a 'live' album without the aid of overdubs and studio trickery. Unfortunately what we were left with was four guys who didn't give a f**k about the project or each other going in four seperate directions and miles of bootleg tape.
No one wanted to go near it after it was laid to rest. Even George Martin washed his hands of it. Phil Spector entered almost a year later, dug his elbows into the muck and pieced together something of a decent album. On the bright side, after seven years "One After 909" is finally released.
