Subject: Sunshine for Auntie Kath and Mel

Hi, Aunties Kath and Mel!
Wanted to bring you some sunshine from our part of the world. Snow is on its way tonight, but I know spring is close...the crocuses around the mountain-ash tree have popped their little green shoots out of the ground!
Grace and I went for a lovely stroll this afternoon along the creek, and we saw some ducks getting ready to nest. Tuesday, we saw a whole flock of majestic tundra swans returning from up north.
Really, spring is ALMOST here.
Grace is doing wonderfully well, smiling, laughing, squealing with delight. She is an indescribable joy.
As of Monday's doc appointment, Grace is now 15lb,2 oz, 26 inches tall.
We go skating every Wednesday (Grace in her stroller, of course), and tomorrow we go swimming with a bunch of other new parents, and Dan has taken the morning off so that he can join us.
Much of our time right now is taken up in trying to find child care for when I have to return to work:(

Hope you guys are making it through. Stay tough when you need to be tough, and soft when you need to be soft.

Love
debdan&GRACE
