For some, buying a new car may be as comfortable as having a root canal. Others enjoy the challenge of wrangling with a shady salesman and walking away feeling like they just took the dealership for a ride -- instead of the other way around. Unfortunately, reality is that the salesman usually gets the better end of the deal simple because car buyers all are often uninformed, unprepared and allow themselves to be cornered in a high-pressure situation. Either way, buying a new or used car does not have to be an unpleasant experience. Below are my thoughts on the best way to get the car you want at a fair price. This article will not teach you how to pick out a car or evaluate a car. This article makes the assumption that you found the car you want, and now you're ready to negotiate a price. I am not a salesman, nor am I in the car business. I am simply a very informed consumer who has purchased many cars over the years and has learned how to negotiate fair deals. For an immediate copy of my article, go to www.paypal.com and send $10 to address raleighpackfan@yahoo.com. Your tips will be emailed promptly. Pleae put "car tips" in your message. Or, send $10 to Hartman, 708 Crossway Lane, Holly Springs, NC, 27540 with a return address and I will mail a copy immediately. Thank you.
