Yeah, I suppose Lex could have been more 'malicious' but thats the beauty of Lex. He's so evil, but he rarely shows it on the outside, so it begs one to ask just How evil is he? I mean he sold out his own great aunt, he killed his own parents, he's ready to sacrifice millions of people just to make some land and gain power. But is that as far as it goes, or can he truly be more evil? Plus its funny to see him 'surrounded by idiots', because if he was working with people as 'intelligent' as he, maybe he would do a lot worse.

As for Lois...yeah, they could have given her a few more words, a bit more personality. I guess Kate Bosworth didn't really have that original Lois screen presence and personality, but I think she nailed the 'Was sure I didn't need superman and now I think I do' part, which was the important thing. Do we need a superman? Did Lois need a superman, she had Richard...

so many layers to such a simple movie and storyline =p
