But first let me say CONGRATULATIONS again for getting the library job and good on YOU! AND that it's great you're planning a holiday - gives you something exciting and meaningful to work towards. Any idea of where abouts in the US you want to go?

Today for me was very exciting because I was doing some shopping for my holiday. I got walking sandals, hiking boots and a trekking back pack! Woo hoo! Very very exciting. My back pack is awesome and was very good value too, and I got both the shoes on sale. All up less than 500 bucks. Yes, GASP, this is why I have no money at the moment. But you only need to buy these kind of things once, maybe twice in your life so I'm doing really well. Most peeps spend more like 1000 bucks on those three things or even more. He he he. HA HA HA!!! I was lucky that I had a really helpful, and I have to say kind of cute, guy in Aussie Disposals helping me with the shoes and the backpack. Actually, he tried to chat me up but I guess seeing as he was 'on the job' he couldn't also be 'on the job' if you know what I mean ;P
