Um. Still panicked when I think about it but I'm going to talk to Colin (hopefully my honours supervisor) early next week. I don't actually KNOW know that I'm in honours but, not to sound up myself or anything, there's no way they wouldn't let me in cause I have very good grades! Except for my STUPID geography unit. The applications aren't even due in yet we're just in the process of formulating a thesis topic.

So Si you guys don't have any other coursework in honours other than the thesis??? We have a 18,000 word thesis (apparently that's smaller than most unis that have 20,000) and a compulsory year-long unit about how to write your thesis and deal with honours that doesn't have any marks attached. Then you also have to do two units that go for a semester each and one has to be methodological (dealing with reading/interpreting ancient sources). Those two units are marked and you write about 2 3,500 word essays for both of them O_o And of course a mountain of research to do over summer O_o
