Yes, normal students talk to their lecturers about things like this, I know I do, because then I know what's required of me when I go to apply for these jobs or have to go down the path to getting these jobs successfully.

one page is nothing. Its not an essay, its a letter.

Ask the lecturers who are not Japanese for references, or ask the ones which you do well in the class. Interest and suitibility has only to do with your ability to work, not what they think of you personally.

Prior experience, as in work experience. If you don't have any, say you don't have any. You've never tutored anyone? You never babysat anyone? I think being honest and saying you're willing to try hard is better than lying.

Just thought I'd point this out. I know you were angry and I hope you're not angry anymore.
