Subject: Taking Screen Captures (for butt3rfly)

You can take screen captures a number of ways. One is to get a program like WinDVD, or PowerDVD that can take screen captures! That will capture off DVDs and VCDs alike. Just play the disc and press the capture button! (You can purchase both programs off the internet...just look them up on Google)
Also, you can capture with the "Print Screen" button that you should be able to see on you keyboard (it's usually near the top row). Play your media on Windows Media Player, and then press the "Print Screen" button. Then paste in a graphics program for the picture (you'll need to crop the player border though) Also, the acceleration must be set to low on Windows Media Player. Go to "Tools" then "Options" then "Performance" tab...and you can slide the bar to lowest acceleration. This method will not work for DVDs.
Lastly, if you have clips that are stored on your computer, you can play them in "Windows Movie Maker 2" and then press the camera looking button at the corner of the view window to capture! ^^
