Date Posted: 16:20:23 03/07/05 Mon good performance at the weekend guys. i know we didn't win but we got a draw against a very good opposition. we must remember that we have come a very long way in a very short space of time. As we go into our final game, still with the chance of promotion - as pointed out by our excellent and stong captain - how would we have felt after our first two games of the season about being in this position now? I'l tell you. eccstatic and very proud. well you can all be very proud your yourselves. I am very proud of you all. paul has been very safe in goal for us, with ig providing excellent cover. The defensive duo of tom and dawkesy has been simply brilliant and dan has again provided magnificent support. you've been a real asset mate, cheers. we've had fantastic midfield and attacking displays all season from pete and francesco respectively. i can speak for us all when i say its very much appreciated. in fact a huge thanks and congratulations to all who played in a navvy shirt this season. i ask all of you as we go into our last match of the season pull together, fight like navvies. and lets finish with a solid performance and a now, dare i say it, almost characteristic victory. good luck. we can do it!!
