searing in my heart
shoots through my soul
harpooned by a sailor
ships dock
i leave you there with the cargo
breathe in the fresh air
get away go
needing you is something i dont
walk away
dont speak
your words twist and turn
i let you in
feel like a fool
defenses broken
thoughts of you swim
you helped me open
something i kept under lock and key
denying the truth
of which you speak
i thought i knew you
i was an open book
pages exposed to your delicious flame
like a holocaust event
you seared my spirit
get strong
never again
shall i let you in
im glad you are gone
so that i can move on
