我同意羅倪蕊的看法。現在通訊和交通發達，地理距離實在是縮短了很多。即使離別，相見的機會也很大。老師有個朋友到外國讀書，每個長假期都回來。以前老師也只是在長假期中才跟這位朋友見面，現在他到外地讀書，反而在長假期中常常見面，所以我常跟他說他有沒有離開香港我也不知道。當然，有很多留學生都不像我的朋友那樣經常回來的，但電郵和電話都方便，要聯絡也不是難事，只是要看看彼此之間是否有恆心互相聯絡而已。

我想起古人寫離別的作品很多，現在的人似乎很少寫離別了。這除了代表通訊和交通的發達，還代表甚麼呢？
