This is because a bug that was found yesterday. This happens because in the upgrade.lua file for the humans ( /scripts/human/upgrade.lua ) has an incorrect DefineAllow instruction, requiring players to have a foundry. This is a handicap in space because in space you cannot build foundries. A quick solution would be to use the patch present from our main page astroseries.com It comes with an upgrade.lua file for the humans which now has the correct values. Its ReadMe will tell you more about how to install the patch if you don't know how to replace a file. The patch will (or should) solve the problem.
