Vanessa, I was not attacking you. I was attacking your statement. It's not an opinion that it's never a rape victim's fault. That's a fact. It doesn't matter how many people tell a person it's their fault, it's not.
Anyway, I don't think it's "screwing up their life" if they are still succesful, smart, and happy, which they generally are. I think what you mean is "if they want to screw up their afterlife" and they might be, but that's up to them to decide whether their lifestyle is a sin. Some choose to live as a straight person or to give up in relationships all together, but there is no such thing as ex-gay. If you have ever identified as gay, lesbian, or bisexual you will always be attracted to members of the same sex whether you choose to acknowledge it or not.
