Good job to the people that were in the play! it was great, but I agree with Mrs. Woodard, it needed more drumming(essecially the rim shots). Haha...its a joke(just to remind all of the people that might have takin me seriously).
Anyway, things are looking real good for WGI. Everyone keep practicing. Make sure to practice smart though. If you dont understand something, ask someone. I would be more then willing to help. Make sure those excersizes are memerized by Monday. NO EXCEPTIONS!
I am really hyped for the season to start and I hope everyone else is too. Tell everyone you know about us; tell them what we are about and what are plans are. The more suport the town gives us, the better we will do.
Keep getting those Tax Credits. Time will be up before we know it. We only have a month left to do this so lets get it done. Also, dont expect everyone to give you $250. Alot of people will only give $20 or mabye even less, maybe none at all. There are a lot of people out there, what ever you do dont give up. Remember sell your self and sell the peogram before anything else. When you get to the door introduce your self and the people with you(don't go alone), act like you have known them for a while. Makes sure they know who we are as a group and what tax credit is. Even if they DO know about us restate how well we did last year; say how far we have to go this year and that we plan on taking the gold. Dont tell them the donation limit is $200 or $250. Only state that, that is how much money the government will reimburse them. If they dont knoe right away if they want to do it, try to make them a deal to come back or make it in payments. Make sure that if it is a maybe, COME BACK!!!
Every remember what our goal is and what we are trying to do this year, with money and with the quality of our group. Dont let anything or anybody ruin this experience for you. With a few words of wisdom this is Anthony Pettit Make this a great year or not, the choice is yours. -word
