...Here's what I will let you kno...no, they didn't get together in the sense you are refering to. Yes , the two were trapped inside the bowling alley by the rest of the gang,,in hopes the two love birds would sort out their situation..but,,,after all the word play of dodge, duck and weave,,after all the defenses were knocked down..left with nothing but the obvious,,Carol attempted to communicate her feelings without saying them, by kissing Ed. At which time Ed asked, " Carol, what are you doing?"and holding her back at the same time and Carol responded, " I..I don't know?" and Ed replied back, " I..I got to get off this train..or ride or something to that effect. They each weant their seperate ways..end of episode. So ..like Ahab and Moby Dick, no they didn't get together, but yes, they did. Carol and Ed are best seen as two halves of one individual...in that sense they have been together all along.......enjoy!....MEL
