>I completely agree with you--Frankie and Ed are sweet & quirky together, but doesn't it almost make you feel like you're watching a brother & sister relate when you watch their interaction??? Ick. I went back and checked, and they're cutting out about 4 episodes, in comparison to the previous two seasons. Our local paper wrote an article today that indicated the show has "been on the bubble" for the last two years, and the NBC execs will re-evaluate the show next month after they see how it is doing in its new time slot. The article went on to say that it did well in its first week, by the way. Can someone PLEASE explain to me what NBC is thinking? By their own admission, on their own website, Ed dominates in its time slot. If this is the case, why would they even consider canceling the show? I'm afraid to hope that he chooses Carol on Friday, because I think that will allow NBC to cancel the show without a series finale if he does. The way they're hyping the episode ("the moment you've been waiting for....") it seems likely it will be Carol.....
