I couldn't agree with you more Jeff. The only reason I watch the show at all is to see the encounters between Ed an Carol. I guess the writters know that they can keep us hanging on longer if they through some conflict into the mix." And they lived happily ever after" is just too short lived. This way they can keep us interested in the development of the relationship[ for longer.

I can't wait for their marriag and kids... All in good time though. It will probably take another 5 seasons at this rate. ;0)
