I weigh in on the side of Ed in the Ed-Dennis rivalry, but in last night's episode, when Carol tells Ed she is going to marry Dennis, I think that more than anything, Ed doesn't want to lose Carol as a romantic prospect. Sure, he wants the best for Carol, but I think that his tantrum when she reveals the news to him shows that it is the so-familiar heartbreak hill that most of us at some time have to climb and accept things and move on. But to keep the show interesting, I doubt if Carol with marry Dennis.
