(She handed the pills to him, holding the water while he readjusted to take them, only handing it over when he was ready. Patiently she waiting, taking the bottle back and setting it on the coffee table - on a coaster of course. Her head tilted as she looked down at him, just sort of looking him over to be sure he was alright, lifting her hand to brush his hair back a little before letting her fingers scratch behind Bambi's ears.) I went grocery shopping.. restocked the kitchen. There's some chicken and potatoes if you're hungry.. but you don't have to eat now if you're not ready. (She sat there for a long moment, just looking at him, missing him and hating herself for ruining what they had had. Being back in the apartment brought back memories of their relationship.. and she wanted that back.. even though she wasn't about to say that to him, not when he was finally looking at her like he wasn't thinking about the terrible things she had done to him. The truth of the thing, was that she didn't deserve a man like him.. he was honorable, loyal, intelligent and infinitely tender.. and she.. well, she hadn't allowed herself to accept his help and had walked out the door when she had quite possibly needed him more than ever. It had been nearly five months from the assault.. and she still had a lot of intimacy issues.. not the least of which was the fact that she had been pregnant with Skeeter's child not but a week at the time of the attack. She caught herself being wistful and blushed, looking down at Bambi instead.)
