(She frowned as she thought about little Shay bleeding to death.. and that poor little Chase had been left with him. She, of course, had been told before what had happened to Shay, but hearing it again made it all seem real again, and it saddened her to think that there were people in this world that were capable of such horrors. She leaned her head back on the headrest and looked over at him, sighing.) I still can't believe that all that happened to her.. the baby is such a blessing to come from what could have been a tragedy. (She saw it as a sort of 'in your face' to the attacker.. that Shay and the baby survived and that another little one was on the way and would make it. The McLeans were fighters.. it would take a hell of a lot more than some sick bastard to take them out. She smirked as he said that he had some of the smaller stuff.. thinking about Justin Mallenock purchasing baby supplies was just plain adorable. She felt the seat heater kick in and sighed happily as she snuggled down into the warmth that was already seeping into her.) We don't have to get anything too special.. though I suppose you will want something that goes with your decor for your place.. (In her mind she was getting things for her apartment and for when the baby stayed with him.. there was no reason for her to think otherwise.. and doing so would be presumptious. Again she felt his eyes and looked over, smiling softly.) Bah, I am always tired.. let's go shopping. I can nap later.
