He watched with soft eyes as she nourished their child, his eyes moving over her face and then down to where Ryan was suckling so fervantly. "Yeah...definitely hungry. Must have his daddy's appettite." He smiled a touch before he nodded and reached out his arms. Of course he wanted to hold him, he never wanted to let him go. His eyes softened as he took the baby into his arms, his words murmuring nonsense in a deep, soothing voice. "He's so bloody perfect, Gia..." He murmured softly, lovingly over at her before he leaned over to press a soft kiss to her forehead. "You did so good today. I can't imagine how you must have felt and you did so good..." He smiled warmly, tenderly before he shifted the baby into his arms again. "Rest now, sweetie, you got a long eighteen years ahead of you." He winked teasingly before he settled back on the bed next to her, leaning with his back to the wall as he held the baby. He just wanted to stay awake a little bit longer and keep an eye on both of them, as if they would just be spirited away when he wasn't paying attention. He just couldn't get enough of touching Ryan, holding him, talking to him, looking at him. An hour later, he wasn't feeling quite so great about holding him when the nurse came in and showed him how to change the diaper. He got through it and immediatly went to wash his hands - it hadn't been quite as bad but that was only a pee one...he didn't even want to think about a poopy diaper yet.
