(She had sucked the corner of her lip into her mouth and was idly watching him as he spoke, lifting up on her elbows when the phone rang and then getting up on her knees to watch him while he spoke to Haylie. She couldn't guage from his behavior what the woman's response had been to his information, though she had a feeling that anyone on the other end of a conversation with Agent Mallanock would agree to his advice without a moments hesitation, so most likely that had been the route this "Haylie" had taken. She nodded to his question as he left the room and she was so fascinated by the specticle that was Skeeter in go-mode that she didn't move from her spot on the floor. When he came back in, she was still kneeling there, looking up at him with Bambi beside him. The dog had heard him rummaging through her food and had lifted her head to look at him too, both of the females faces were a little excited and a little questioning.. ) Yeah.. road trip sounds fun. (The agent in her jumped for joy at getting back in the game.. the woman in her was wondering how this arriving tomorrow at 8:30 business would be playing out.)
