Calling all Cute Kids!
Cibola County Cinderella Preliminary Pageant 03/21/09

Do you have a special daughter or son? Do you want to build self confidence and poise? Would you like to develop your/her talents? Would you like to meet new friends and become part of our Cinderella Family?

The Cibola County Cinderella Preliminary Pageant will be held at the NMSU- Grants Campus Performing Arts Center in Grants, NM. This event takes place on March 21, 2009, from 1pm until 4pm. Our emphasis is on building and rewarding the confidence, poise and talent of children and young women and doing so in an atmosphere that promotes the positive growth of the individual. You will find that in Cinderella, our emphasis is placed on rewarding participants for their "achievements" rather than on their "physical beauty". Each year our program awards cash and prizes to deserving young ladies.

Our age divisions are: Baby (0-2 yrs), Tot (3-6 yrs), Mini Miss (7-9 yrs.), Miss (10-12 yrs.), Teen (13-17 yrs.), and Woman (18-26 yrs. Married or single).

Cinderella is more than just a "beauty pageant", Cinderella is a youth development program that starts at the local level. Contestants will compete in a Group Interview or Baby Playtime, Casualwear, Partywear, Photogenic and Talent for ages 7 & up. Local winners will have the opportunity to advance to the New Mexico State Pageant which will be held June 10 - 13, 2009. From there, the New Mexico winners will advance to the International Finals to be held in Dallas, Texas in July. Previous modeling and pageant experience is NOT necessary and glitzy pageant clothes are not wanted. We want "real kids in real clothes". A free modeling workshop will be held to help all of the contestants.
