His head didn't even lift as his ears caught sound of another entering. As she came into his view, kneeling at the front, he watched her with curious eyes. "Me?" he murmured, stating the obvious if only to clarify things for himself, raising his head and tilting it slightly to examine her better. "I just wandered in... no reason, really." Emerald pools still focused on the kneeling girl, he inquired softly, "How about you? Not to seem rude or anything, I'm just curious..."
