Nodding in the faintest acknowledgement of her bow, he trailed her movements with a steady gaze though he maintained his distance. He had not fed yet under this moon, but that was what the world of humans was for, was it not? No sense in killing off the unique and interesting! "A pleasure," he echoed, a touch of cool distance in his voice but the words were genuine enough. "And I don't know," he offered in response to her question. "For the peace, the sparkle of glass under moonlight, the echos of a building breathing with history... for a change, an opportunity to explore something new. I've never been here before and chanced upon it in my wanderings tonight." For the sheer pleasurable thought of commiting some atrocious blasphemy in bringing his own darkness into what was meant to house the sacred, though he knew of no god, no heaven, no hell. Only blissful immortality. Though her back was turned to him, a glimmer of his twisted humor brought a wry grin to his shadowed features. "Certainly not for prayers!"
