Subject: A MESSAGE FROM THE GENTRY FAMILY

On January 25, 2006 Teresa Walters Gentry passed on to be with her heavenly Father. It is evident that Teresa touched many lives and because of her faithfulness to our relationship, allowed me to pursue a career that has lead to so many friendships. On behalf of my daughter Kristal, son Richard, Teresa’s family and my family, I want to extend a very special thank you for the food, flowers, plants, phone calls, cards, memorials and for the love and friendship that has been heartfelt and over whelming. There are no words to express how much all of this meant to us.
Teresa loved God, her children, her family, her friends, her church and the music ministry at College Place Baptist, her job at the University of Louisiana Monroe and she loved life which she lived to the fullest.
Without any warning Teresa was suddenly taken from us. It is not for us to question why, but to be thankful for the time she was with us. We will always have the memories we shared with Teresa.
I would like to thank the many friends for being there for us through this life changing experience.
From the Bible we find comfort in Ecclesiastes 4 that says, there is a right time for everything. And to refer to the sentence that says “But though God has planted eternity in the hearts of men, even so, man cannot see the whole scope of God’s work from beginning to end.” We will never know how many lives were touched by Teresa, but we do know that she will be remembered in the hearts of many.
