Subject: SAD NEWS

To Our Worldwide Cinderella Family:

It is my sad duty to inform you that Lorilee Roberts passed away last evening from complications resulting from the cancer that she has been fighting over the last year or so.

She was surrounded by her loving and devoted family... her husband Andy and son, Drew. Many of you will remember Lorilee as the wonderful lady who was editor of the Glass Slipper (Cinderella's official News Magazine) and most recently had been appointed as Assistant Royalty Coordinator.

Lorilee's love affair with Cinderella started when she was a teenager and participated in the program. She developed a love and respect for the program from that early association. Her generosity of spirit, loving nature and enthusiasm for our girls is legendary.

Words cannot express the loss we feel today at the realization that one of our dearest and truest friends has left us for her heavenly home. I know she would not want us to feel badly, but somehow I just cannot get over the feeling that we are somehow dimished by her departure. Kindness, Generousity, Love were the hallmarks of her personality. She gave of herself without reservation, and we were mightly blessed to have her a part of our family. However, while we cannot escape mourning her loss today, we will no doubt be greeted with tears of happiness when we once again meet her in heaven.

As I write, the final plans for services have not been made. However, I can tell you that services will be near Paducah, Kentucky (near her family home) and will be either Wednesday or Thursday of next week. Please check back for information as it will be posted as soon as it is available.
