I watch in utter disbelief at the destruction this awful storm has left. My prayers are with everyone affected across the Gulf Coast.

I have received some email communication from Ginny and Alyssa Larose. They evacuated to Shreveport. However, Ginny's husband is in hotel management and was required to stay with his hotel as "essential staff." Thankfully, he is safe. However, he has tried to evacuate now and cannot. He and the other 12 employees with him spoke with National Guardsmen earlier, and the Nat'l. Guardsmen told them to go back to the hotel because they were safer there than in shelters, and they had food and water there. Please pray for their continued safety and for provision of a way out of New Orleans. I know Ginny and Alyssa are anxious to reunite with Mike.

The Cowen's have talked with David and Nancy Bonomolo. They are all safe.
