Subject: Update from home...

I just wanted to let everyone know that my family fortunately evacuated New Orleans before Katrina hit and we are all safe in Georgia. We have been receiving updates from family that stayed home and have been told that St. Rose, my hometown, made it through the storm with little damage. Although that is good news, I am saddened to inform you that my mom's studio, The Dance Factory, where I rehearsed all of my International Talent winning performances, is under a few feet of water. We have been unable to gain access to the area to see the damage but we are most likey going to have to replace everything. It is so hard to think that in a matter of hours, everything my mom has worked hard for all of her life was taken away. I am asking that everyone please pray for all of the families whose lives have been changed forever by this destructive storm as many of them are literally going home to nothing. I feel blessed that my family is safe and that everything that was destroyed was material, and can be replaced. I just hope that my mom's studio will come back better than ever! The love, support, and prayers from my Cinderella family helped get me through my illness, so I know for sure that it will help me and my family through this too. I miss all of you, you are always in my thoughts and prayers! Please keep in touch!
