Miami held up fairly well although thousands of people were without electricity for several days. The area in which we reside is Country Walk and I cannot believe the devastation around us. Just yesterday our street was closed due to the large fork lifts cleaning the debris and trees from the area. We personally did not have any damage with the exception of water in our garage. Fortunately, we just had permanent hurricane shutters installed on all the windows and glass sliding doors so that certainly helped. We never lost electricity which was fortunate especially since my husband (Danielle's Dad) was just released from the hospital the morning of the hurricane. It is imperative that he be on oxygen 24 hours a day. We do have a large generator but it is very heavy so we were grateful that we never lost power.

We want to thank all our Cinderella friends that called offering their help and love especially the Bonaquisti's, Dani Smith, the Tyson's, Carla & Hunter Gerard, Ms. Florence and Mr. Larry.
