Author: cut and pasted from another board [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] Date Posted: 14:27:25 10/15/04 Fri The New Miss Florida USA Qualifying Rules (cut & pasted directly from the newsletter) To qualify for this year’s Miss Florida USA Pageant delegates will have to compete in a local preliminary pageant. From each pageant the winner(s) will have a full paid entry into state. The automatic entries will be based on participation. 02-14 delegates per category: 1 entry 15-29 delegates per category: 2 entries 30+ delegates per category: 3 entries AT LARGE DELEGATES: To qualify as an “at-large” or paying delegate you have to be a finalist (top 5-6) in a local preliminary pageant. Also qualifying for state are local Miss Amity and Miss Photogenic award winners. The past seasons top 15 from state as well as state’s Miss Amity and Miss Photogenic winners have qualified. Past Miss Florida Teen USA and Miss Florida MAO winners also have automatic qualification. -- (as stated above this info was cut & pasted from the October 1st Newsletter so it is absolutely accurate!)
