Subject: Proposals to revive Zak McKracken?

Hello,

First of all thank you for setting up this site about a game that significantly influenced and entertaind my childhood.
I have been reading this forum for a couple of months and really appreciated all the fan sequels. However I understand that pure dedication is not enough to drive a revival of ZakMcKracken.

Now, has anyone got any idea with regard to a business plan to start work on a new commercial sequel to Zak McKracken? How many good programmers are out there and how much are they willing to be paid to produce something like that in 1-2 years? I understand there will have to be copyright rights to deal with especially LucasArt's but that shouldn't be a problem given the fact we're talking of something that is almost abandon-ware?

I'd appreciate to read some ideas about all this.

Thank you
