In reply to: Jakob 's message, "Zak´s first name?" on Tuesday, Mar 23

That comes from the walkthrough narrative in which the game is told from Zak's perspective. It came with the original hint book for Zak, and was reproduced in the manual for the LucasArts Classic Adventure Game Pack. It says, and I quote:

"I hate my job.
My name is Zak McKracken. Well, actually, it's Francis Zachary McKracken. Junior. But you can call me Zak. Go right ahead; everyone else does."

>Wikipedia says that Zak Mckrackens full name is
>"Francis Zachary McKracken".
>But where does the name Francis appear? Zak´s credit
>card says "Zachary Mckracken" and his mailbox says
>"Zachary Mckracken" and his mother on the answering
>machine only calls him "Zachary".
