Perhaps they ruled his village, they must have to get into the palace, but to ride in by herself was sheer suicide, and so be it, the less of the heathens there were the better. But his religion interveened. Divine notion touched his breast and his anger paused and quelled, thickening into a knot in his stomach. Pure fury contained, he looked on at the woman with judgement weighing heavy in his eyes. "Shameless distortion of nature, how dare you show your face before those who follow order when you bare so much blood on your hands. You have conquoered my village you say? And for what? Has your anger been sated with the blood of innocents?" He stood, unaffected by the sound of a goblet clattering to the ground from the arm of his seat, to stand before his throne, staring silently across the room at the Amazon, waiting to see if she had the intelligence to speak or would simply charge him like the barbarians the lot of them were.
