She eyed the stallion back, but without the fierceness of his own. Taliena stared gently as if it say, "Do not worry. I won't hurt you." Ever since she was little, she had basically communicated with horses through eye contact and some said that her eyes had the ability to seek out the very souls of any creature. From her mouth came a soft whistling tune, a song of old. Moving closer to the stallion, she put a rope halter on his head and lead him, still whistling, to the valley of the Scythian steppes.
