Nora, hurt by working visa issue

Performing sa US ng walang working visa? This is one issue kung saan
na-hurt talaga ang Supertar na si Nora Aunor. Just recently, muntik
na kasing ma-cancel ang performance ng actress sa kabilang network
after being questioned on her working visa kasi hindi raw sapat ang
dokumentong pinanghahawakan niya. Nora’s counsel responded with a
letter saying this is untrue!
Later, the star clarified the issue again, at sinabi pa niya mismo
sa audience na But, to Nora’s dismay, the same network
was said to have cut this part at ipinakita na lamang
sa viewers ang kanyang pagkanta. “’Yung masakit lang
sa akin e ‘yung parang ginagawa na naman nila akong
yo-yo. ‘Yung network na yan, nuong araw pa nila
ginagawa akin ‘yan…”

Asia's Song Bird Regine Velasquez denied that she snubbed
Koreanovela diva Faith Cuneta when she guested at SOP last Sunday.
Regine stressed that she talked to Faith at the backstage.
Faith also said that she does not want to exaggerate the issue. She
added that Regine is very supportive and helpful to all the
newcomers.

Coco Lee and Regine Velasquez show down!!!!
SOP opened up last Sunday’s show with a blast. They paid
tribute to the pillars of GMA. 55 years of showbiz gave us
countless personalities and numerous talents.
KC Montero opened the show as Uncle Bob. Ogie enjoyed being
Kuya Germs for at least one day. Vilma Santos’ dance moves
was revived by Rufa Mae Quinto. 604 sang Tito, Vic and Joey’s
Iskul Bukol theme.
Another trio, the Dating Doongroup was impersonated by
Jay-R, Malik and Gabby Eigenmann.
Richard Gomez gamingly played Steve of Voltes V fame.
Jolina, Karyll and Kyla were the fabulous Charlie’s Angels.
Choreographer and dance diva Geleen Eugenio was played by
the lovely Regine Velasquez. And of course, Ms. Regine
Velasquez sang all the Pilita Corales hits.
Janno Gibbs flew in as Aguiluz.
One of Asia’s Pop Stars Coco Lee had a show down with
Asia’s Songbird, Regine Velasquez. The two heated up the
SOP stage with their powerful voices.

Questions and issues concerning their private lives continued to
follow Asia's Songbird Regine Velasquez and Concert Queen Pops
Fernandez across the ocean.
The pair are currently in California, USA.

Pinay actress in US, back in Manila

It’s so nice to be back home. Pinay actress, Giovannie Pico may
be
having the time of her life as an up and coming celebrity in
Hollywood, pero dito sa Pinas mas matindi pa rin ang saya niya.
Super warm kasi ng reception ng ating mga kababayans kay Giovannie.
Her neighbors in Tondo flocked to the airport and greeted the
actress with matching banners and t-shirts with prints of her face
on them! She was also excitedly surprised by her fans at the hotel.
Giovannie didn’t even mind the press’ marathon questions.
“Di ako
nag-e-expect ng attention na ganito!” she said.
Giovannie shared her slick break in the movie
“American Yearbook”.
Dito raw napansin ng mga foreigners ang galing ng Pinoy sa acting.
She also starred in the Emmy Award wining TV series, ER where she
introduced the Filipino delicacy, “dinuguan” to her co-stars
off screen. “They’re talking about dinuguan really quick
in the lunch room,” smiles Giovannie. Now that she’s home,
her first order of business might be to meet Regine Velasquez
“Oh my gosh… I would love to see Regine! I would love
to see Regine!”
