Personally I don't think Regine cared to get an award from Aliw this year, last year and the next year after. But that's just a guess. And base it on that Aliw award show sham a few years ago when Regine fan Elaine was there with Regine's music cronies and made a report about what she saw happened there. It's been posted in the archives. But I pretty much lost my interest in award shows since then too. But Regine should still dream about the Grammy Awards someday. You never know.. (I'm talking about going in person as a music guest to watch the show. hehe.. And maybe sit next to Barbra u-know-who on one side and have Manilow on the other. ;-) Or Jasmine Trias!
