Noong Sunday, August 27 ginawa ang Forever After concert nina Regine
Velasquez at Ogie Alcasid sa Wembley Arena sa London. Pero, hindi agad
babalik ng Pilipinas ang dalawa dahil may kani-kanya silang lakad. As in,
hindi sila magkasama.
Si Ogie ay dederetso sa Australia para bisitahin ang kanyang pamilya at
para sa belated celebration ng kanyang birthday (Aug. 27) kasama ang mga
mahal niya sa buhay. Si Regine naman, mamamasyal sa ibang parte ng London
kasama ang mga magulang at pahinga na rin niya ito dahil pagbalik niya ng
'Pinas ay sasabak agad siya sa trabaho.
Bukod sa promo ng pelikulang Til I Met You nila ni Robin Padilla na showing
sa October 11, paghahandaan din niya ang Twenty, ang two-night concert niya
sa Araneta Coliseum sa Oct. 13 & 14. Ang pelikula at concert din ang
dahilan kaya hindi siya makakasama sa grupo ng mga taga-SOP na pupunta sa
Hawaii para mag-show sa September 25.

utilizing any technology that would be visually entertataining and enticing
on stage. On his next number, he introduced Regine Velasquez as one humble
Platinum artist who always enjoys doing back-up vocals to his songs. He
expressed elation that Asia's Songbird again did back-up vocals in "(U
Know) What You Want," an upbeat song from his "Relevance" album. Regine
Velasquez though performed through a music video shot especially for his
concert.

Ogie Alcasid told me that his latest duet with Regine Velasquez (“Hindi Ko
Na Kayang Masaktan Pa”) is about a gay relationship. “So many of my gay
friends complain that their relationship with their papa is one-sided. They
feel drained, yet they keep giving. I feel their pain, so I thought of
writing a song about that. I’m not saying that’s how all gay relationships
end up. Emotional abuse also happens between a man and a woman.” The video
of the song shows Ogie and Regine both in tears. I kidded him: “Will you
cry if you lose Regine?” Without hesitation he admitted, “Yes… if I lose
her as a singing partner!” Amid all the crazy rumors about them, they just
duet together!

Regine, Ka-Duet sa Album ni Dennis!

Sa rami nang recording company na nag-offer sa kanya ng kontrata, sa Indie
Music pumirma si Dennis Trillo. Ang sarap daw ng feeling na masabing siya
ang first artist ng recording company nina Regine Velasquez, Ogie Alcasid,
Leo Domigues, Cacai at Raul Mitra. Napi-pressure lang ang actor-turned
singer dahil kailangang lumabas na maganda ang album at dapat bumenta para
hindi ma-disappoint ang mga nagtiwala sa kanya.
Lalo pang na-pressure si Dennis dahil si Regine ang magpo-produce ng
kanyang album. Ang ibig sabihin, ang Asia’s Songbird ang mamimili ng songs
na isasama sa album at magko-conceptualize. May duet din sila na pinipili
pa kung ano.
November ang target ng release ng album ni Dennis at dapat ay bago ang
concert nila nina Janno Gibbs at Jose Manalo sa Araneta Coliseum na
produced ni Malou Choa-Fagar. Kabilang sa mga kantang isasama sa album ay
ang "All Out of Love" ng Air Supply, "Here, There & Everywhere" ng Beatles,
"Kay Tagal" ni Rachel Alejandro at ilang original compositions. Tiyak ding
aabangan ang duet nila ni Regine.
