IT’S ALWAYS a delight to be around Ogie Alcasid. His warmth is genuine. Things are never “showbiz-ized” between us. Our friendship has a mark of its own. So what’s supposed to be an interview ends up being a heartwarming chat between friends. Ogie is all agog preparing for his birthday concert, “Komikonsiyerto,” on Aug. 5 at the Aliw Theater (call 819- 9999 for tickets). The concert will showcase his versatility both as a hit maker and comedian. His guests include Michael V, Wendell Ramos, Francine Prieto, Ruffa Mae Quinto and Lovi Poe. “For me, it’s harder to make people laugh with my antics than to move them with my songs. That the false rumors about Regine Velasquez and Ogie Alcasid were created and are still being pushed ( but a little less ) by her media publicist. And it wasn't something authorized by Regine for him to do either. Just thought you should know. Since you of all people shouldn't be clueless about stories like that.
