Viva is finally putting out their press releases for
the album. The info sounds pretty good. Any word
on how many music videos she'll be doing?

Any Regine fans watch the movie that is out right
now called "Underworld 2 : Evolution?" And if you
seen Reg's pic of COVERS 2 you will agree with me
that in some of the movie scenes close-ups the
lead female actress look like Regine from the
front cover. lol.. Can't miss it. Funny, no?
Regine may want to try wearing leather! Nah..
Especially not a good idea on stage. No one
does it because when you sweat .. you won't
forget! lol..

7x platinum? I think most of her monster sellers went 8x
platinum. There was DRAWN and RETRO and LIVE. Though Viva
usually only stops at 4x platinum on press releases. And
PolyEast .. never mind. But David Pomeranz is the artist
under them that holds their record for sales. But he is
being listed not as a foreign but local recording singer.
Foreign solo/group recording acts still outsell most of
our local music artists zillions-to-1.

R2K unofficially was a DIAMOND seller, Regine fan Aldwin..
There are several fans who also did some checking and asking
and that sales tip info is solid. You won't get the tip from
asking any Viva employees unless they work in the (forgot what
the word is) section. Or work at where the orders for the disks
are made at. hehe.. Shhh. ( Raffy's group acted like whenever
I posted about the latest albums sales status in 2000 I was
making it up. Another myth falls in here. ) Even Boss Vic
made confirmations about how good some albums sales were.
He probably didn't realize it (at one time) but made clear
hints that told me R2K is way pass the Diamond status.

I think the Reign album went way above 4x platinum too.

I have no idea how well her movie soundtracks did. But
it was probably one of the soundtracks where she had
her only weak sales that didn't do too well on the charts
as you'd expect.

Anyone know how COVERS 1 sold? Sounds like COVERS 2 is
even a better album. But I get this bad feeling that
most of the articles from now about her U.S. Tour
with Pops Fernandez won't be mentioning her new
album. The same way it was lacking in their
articles when COVERS 1 first came out.

I don't think Reg bothered with any sales report issues
and seems happy enough when they reach "just" double-triple
Platinum. Otherwise the walls of her entire house will
get filled-up with sales awards and she probably wants
empty wall space for all those pictures of her & George.

How about her book sales? She sell hundreds or thousands
of books? And then her old movies too. I seen they done
some repackaging and put a group of her movies together.

Underworld is a vampire movie. Part 1 was had alot
of the style taken from the Matrix movies.
But it was likable..

Hey, how about a local vampire movie about a celebrity
who picks her victims during her shows from the audience?

No? You're right. Sounds too much like that one
diva's real-life activity back in the late 70s.
