But it is being used by media practioners. Looks like one of the ways is to promote Ara Mina. Now I been following the moves of Ara ever since she had a fallout then make up with her former manager Boy Abunda. And when they did make-up the stories for her improved. Stories on Pops did not. Strange with a new manager under her wings. Not so strange when we now believe Abunda is involve in the change of management. Just like the way he made changes in Regine's management by getting Regine's father out of the loop. Regine's father and Pops' mother both taken out of the picture? Sure they still have some say. But that's not the point about the whole thing is it. Both Regine and Pops have new managers. It just cannot be considered another coincidence. Especially with the information I'm being told about- That the Pops-Martin break up may have had Abunda's involvement. That the Regine-Ariel relationship did have Abunda involvement. And clear as day he is all over the Regine-Ogie rumors, Year 3! What the heck is that manager/publicist up to anyway?! Not what his job is suppose to be about. That's for sure.. ( And Regine fans will take note of the times there has been media articles that are meant to get people upset at Regine. Pinoy crab writer Cristy Fermin's imfamous blind item posting on Regine would be the perfect example. And there is no question of her direct tie to publicist Boy Abunda. ) Yet it was noted how the same media publicist goes out of the way to protect Pops ex-hubby from alot of bad media as well as his other clients. Here's the conclusion: -Media attacks against Pops are done because the media publicist is siding with Martin. -Media attacks against Regine are done because the media publicist sides with the ex-handlers of the song bird. Including being the PR person for Belo. And believed to be the media practitioner that couldn't be named by my sources as the one who was worked with the B.I.R. to file cases against some of our artists. ( Trying to throw us off by even going to the extent of saying he was being also being checked by the B.I.R. Yeah, right.. ) Take note, Regine and Pops fans.. >;-( ADDED INFO: Guess who are pictured in the Inquirer as Belo clients last month. First was Pops. Then the other day was Ara Mina. Abunda's foolishness isn't that hard to follow. You don't need insiders to know what is being investigated by the Music Inside Buzz is true. Her team-up with Zsa Zsa Padilla in “Diva 2 Diva” is now one of the longest-running concert series to date, wowing audiences all over the world more than two years after it opened a the PICC. Last Valentine’s Day, it was Concert Queen Pops Fernandez’s turn to share the limelight with Kuh in "Let’s Talk About Love" at the Captain’s Bar of the Mandarin Oriental Hotel. From their opening song to the last, Kuh and Pops consistently showed why they are among the best female performers in the business. The two divas treated audiences to some of the best and most romantic songs like their renditions of "Love Moves," a beautifully- arranged duet of "Kung Ako’y Iiwan Mo" and "Paano," a Barry Manilow medley ("Ready to Take a Chance Again" and "If I Should Love Again") and a Burt Bacharach medley ("Make It Easy on Yourself," "Wives and Lovers" and "Promises, Promises"). The audience particularly loved Pops’ performance of hits by the ‘80s group Swing Out Sister, including "Breakout" and "Waiting Game" and her "CCC Medley" featuring hits of three composers whose last names begin with the letter "C" George Canseco ("Ikaw"), Ryan Cayabyab ("Kailangan Kita") and Willy Cruz ("Sana’y Wala Nang Wakas"). Kuh, meanwhile, drew a standing ovation when she brought audiences back to the ‘80s with the early romantic hits of her career in "I Think I’m in Love" and "One More Try." Another revelation during the show was the presence of Kuh and Pop’s special guest, McDonald’s Philippines president George Yang. Yes, believe it or not, this high-powered businessman proved he could hold his own against the Pop Diva and the Concert Queen as he joined them onstage in several special numbers.
