More than three years nang naka-based sa Australia ang mag- iina ni Ogie habang pinili niyang manatili ditto sa Pilipinas. Ayon kay Ogie, mas mabuti ang ganoong setup nila ni Michelle Van Eimeren. Tahimik at masayang namumuhay ang pamilya niya sa Australia. Mas okay daw ngayon dahil nakalipat na sila sa bagong patayong bahay nila sa outskirts ng Southern Highlands sa Australia.. Sa ngayon ay si Ogie ang lumilipad papuntang Australia during special occasions. Seven to eight times a year daw siya kung dalawin ang pamilya kaya in touch na in touch pa rin siya sa growth and development ng mga anak. Madalas pa rin naman niyang kausap ang mga anak at asawa through internet chat kaya kahit paano ay naiibsan nito ang pagka-miss niya sa kanila. Dahil alam naman niyang masaya at nagmamahalan pa rin sila ni Michelle, hindi na apektado si Ogie sa hindi mamatay-matay na tsismis sa kanila ni Regine Velasquez. Ayon kay Ogie, napagod na rin siya sa kakadepensa sa sarili at kay Regine.
