I can almost believe that one. ;-} Ara Mina's media press is now being handled by Boy Abunda's people since they recently made up. Ara use to be managed by Abunda owned 'backroom'. The moment they settled their differences he wasted no time throwing all kinds of stories and articles that mentioned about Ara and other artists. It was only a matter of time before Abunda used Regine again to help promote another artist he is connected with. He done it with Faith Cuneta. And he's been doing it with Ogie Alcasid. Which isn't so much of a bad thing for some. Ogie's music talent for songwriting did need some boosting. But that not-in-this-lifetime love affair that Abunda keeps trying to push in the public's face is really starting to get annoying. Don't you guys think so too? OGIE RUMOR The moment when Ogie made the all-telling slip at his first interview about the false rumored romance with Regine said it straight and clear about the whole thing. Ogie said he first heard about the rumor from his own manager. The only time a manager 'warns' their artist about a showbiz rumor is usually when it is an approved one. A showbiz made one. Which was unusual for Ogie at the time. Because he didn't need it. And since Regine wasn't told about it as she should have been as Ogie was? It had to be made to be used against Regine. And we all know today who has been pushing most of those false stories and rumors about Regine in the media, right? Her own media publicist. Boy Abunda. Who has direct working ties to Ogie's manager. By the way.. Ai-Ai made a joking reference in Reg's concert about Ogie being in the audience. But who is Ai-Ai's manager? It's Boy Abunda. Now that is pretty shameless to direct your own artists into getting involve with your false showbiz rumors. ( But then again that is Claudine's story nowadays, isn't it? She's in BIG trouble with YES Magazine because she followed with Abunda's influenced and filed a case against the editor there. ) Why is he doing it? Ask Cez_U who works for Aria. She's the one who asked why I'm picking on their media publicist before. But failed to say Abunda by name. Its because he wanted to keep his involve- ment with Regine and Aria ( I call it manipulation of Regine and ARIA ) a secret. Probably so he can continue to undermine Regine & company while be able to do effective damage control better. The False B.I.R. tax-evasion charges against Regine is a good example of it. Pilipino Star Ngayon is connected with Star Newspaper. Abunda writes in the entertainment section of the Star. Karen, you should know Regine better than that by now. Don't think of the artists. Think of who is handling them. And who does their media release and PR. Its obvious to me what's been happening. Abunda deep down inside is the one who has been jealous and envious of Regine Velasquez all these years. His plastic front about it has been exposed already. Everytime she left the country to accept an award ( like from MTV-ASIA ) she gets trashed in the media instead of being praised for her music accomplishments. Her U.S. visa incident was really an attempt to stop the successful roll she was on from her R2K release. Her Canada cancelled shows was someone's attempt to put her in her place. Abunda in his own colunm made his involvement clear when he hinted something about Regine had to learn her lesson ( the same kind of message that slimy producer in Canada was trying to say hence another link to Abunda. ) about trying to be a better person than .. Sorry. It is x'mas eve. Its family time. Yet I consider Regine part of my own family now too. Just like many of you do. So its only right I been telling everyone what you should have already known. About Regine's true character. And Abunda's real face away from showbiz. His actions show he dislikes our girl. That's why you read those kinds of stories like her being jealous of Ara Mina. ( Ara Mina was getting bad press herself right before she settled back with Abunda.) Because it is about what Abunda wants Regine to be seen as. As someone she is not. But it would be as he wants her to be as and expects it. So if she won't be as he wants her to be then he simply makes it look that way. Because of his position as a media practitioner. Which he abuses alot obviously. mmJun ;-/ Do your own thinking, Regine fans.. You know your idol by now. If you do your own thinking you wouldn't be asking about silly stories you already know couldn't be true. Its time to start asking questions that really matter most. Start asking questions about Abunda. Why does he do it. How does he do it. How does it effect you personally. Do you like believing in lies or knowing what's true? Think about it this x'mas because that is what christmas is suppose to be about.
