.mahogan beaut remains in stall, dial thrust over door. Restless, hadn't been out in over a week, an' male had somewhat disappeared. Retreats to back of stable, muzzle poking through bars, attempting to snatch at next door's hay. Had been left a plentiful supply, tho' t'was no running out. Lobes prick as someone enters barn, shrill soprano issued, dashing once more to front of stall, colliding with door.
