She jogs up on a large chestnut stallion. She dismounts the western saddle and drops to the ground. She takes the reins in her hand and leads the stallion into the barn. She goes to the very end, finding her 5 stalls. She crossties the chestnut steed, untacking him quickly and setting the saddle on a rack in a stall that is used for her tack and feed storage. She grooms his coat good and then beds his stall with 7 inch high cedar shavings. She puts him int he stall along with water, sweet feed, and a hay bag plump with hay. She grooms the other horses and also beds their stalls, putting the hay, water and sweet feed in each of her 4 horses stalls. She walks to the very end stall, looking in at a palomino mare. She steps into the stall, patting the mares stomach. She grabs a vet kit and cecks the mare, hoping the foal would be coming along soon now. It was already over a week late. She sighs as she pats the mares neck, exiting the stall again. She plops onto a hay bale and takes out a magazine-Practical Horseman-reading boredly...... also wondering if her sister. She gazes around for someone to talk to, still kinda reading the 'zine.
