][smiles stepping out of the Ford, turning off the engine. grabs the vet bag along with the tack. walks into the barn, flipping back a strand of auburn hair as she walks to the filly's barn. smiles, 'hey gorgeous, Chris is hear to check out your leg' looks back at Chris. sets down the tack by her stall, walking in then leading her out][
]the chestnut filly dances around, tossing her head. snorts looking to Chris, muzzle running outwards nibbling at Raven's shirt. throws her head again dancing around as she is put into Crossties, standing then jumping around[
=smiles walking over 'what a beautiful animal Raven' looks over the filly. crouches down, running his hand over the swollen leg. puts pressure on the leg, feeling the extreme heat. picks up her hoof 'an absess is whats causing all this, she must of stepped on something and its cutting into her hoof fairly deep' grabs the shot so the filly will relax 'keep her awake' gives the shot right in the filly's neck, grabbing a pick and digging out all the "junk". a good half and hour passes as he finally gets to where it is and continues to pick it out. pours aniseptic on it and a some 'red stuff' (forgot what its called). pours salt on her foot then lets it sit in a bucket of salt water. splashes water on her leg then dries it. wraps it up, taping up the hoof then setting it in a boot 'keep her out of the paddock and the ring for 3 weeks, you can let her swim though in the pool Allie has at her barn to keep her in shape' smiles, watching as the filly is lead back in.
